Join Alliance member PHI’s Regional Asthma Management & Prevention (RAMP) for a 2-day Community Action to Fight Asthma (CAFA) Virtual Summit. Day 1 will feature opening remarks by California Senate Majority Leader, Lena A. Gonzalez, followed by a panel on MediCal’s asthma policies and a presentation on the latest scientific research on indoor air quality. Day 2 will feature a panel on asthma and climate change policy, a training on advocacy, and opportunities to meet with California policymakers to educate them about asthma.

Bay Area Global Health Alliance 2022 Annual Meeting | May 16, 2022
Global health professionals from academia, NGOs, tech, biotech and other private sector partners gathered for the Alliance’s Annual Meeting on Monday, May 16, at UCSF. Amy Lin, acting director of USAID’s Center for Innovation and Impact, discussed the future of the global health sector in a fireside chat moderated by PHI president and BAGHA board chair Mary Pittman. Their conversation was followed by a series of flash talks on the state of global health financing and investments from representatives from the Hewlett Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. The meeting concluded with highlights on the state of the Alliance and key partnerships.
