This year’s One Health Symposium theme focuses on climate change and its role in natural disasters globally, with an emphasis on innovation and global variability in transdisciplinary responses. The event will feature a global student case competition, a keynote talk from a world expert on the One Health approach to promote planetary health, and a panel discussion on battling the effects of climate change.

Join UC Davis Veterinary Medicine for the Rx One Health Field Institute, a transformative field-based experiential learning course focused on One Health core competencies for graduate students and early career professionals from all disciplines. Through hands-on experiences, case studies, group discussions and field exercises, Rx One Health will develop participants’ skills for addressing complex challenges using the One Health approach, which recognizes that the health of people, animals, and their environments are interconnected, and that problem solving to address complex challenges is best achieved through transdisciplinary collaboration.
