Connecting for innovation and impact for all in global health
Elisha Dunn-Georgiou, the new President and CEO of Global Health Council, joined us for a conversation and update on policy and funding issues on Capitol Hill, at UNGA and following President Biden’s recent COVID Summit, where she joined leaders in committing to end the COVID-19 pandemic. She gave her observations from DC and answered questions on the political state of global health, in this critical time.
The Global Health Innovation XCHANGE, created by the Washington Global Health Alliance, will be hosting a webinar on global health innovation across different sectors. The event will begin with a presentation by Ricardo Silva, Vice President at the Foundation for Living, Wellness, and Health, and will be followed by a moderated panel discussion featuring Rebecca Milner, Chief Advancement Officer at International Medical Corps; Sudesh Sivarasu, DSI/NRF South African Research Chair (SARChI) in Biomedical Engineering & Innovation at University of Cape Town & Director – Biomedical Engineering Research Centre (UCT – BMERC); Jitendra Sharma, Managing Director and CEO of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ); and Ricardo Silva (Moderator), Vice President at the Foundation for Living, Wellness, and Health.
