From UHC2030 to Sustained HIV Services: How Strengthened Primary Health Care Systems Can Get Us There

With global commitments to universal health coverage by 2030 (UHC2030) and primary health care (PHC) as the approach to achieving sustainable health for all, PATH is hosting an engaging webinar that will consider how HIV services are being included in essential care packages, highlight integration approaches, and convene an expert panel of community representatives, advocates, and funders who will share considerations for designing, implementing, and financing integrated and inclusive HIV-PHC models to ensure long-term sustainability as part of country-specific UHC2030 goals. Panelists include Alliance member Chris Collins, President & CEO of Friends of the Global Fight and moderator Dr. Kimberly Green, Global Director, Primary Healthcare of PATH.

Digital Health Week 2024: Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Vaccine Education

Join Stanford Digital Medic, Maya Health Alliance, and UCSF Institute for Global Health Sciences for an interactive online presentation to see their approach to improving HPV and routine vaccination rates in Indigenous Maya communities in Guatemala. You’ll discover how they used a human-centered design approach to gather insights from community members and health workers to create a culturally relevant, animated vaccine education video series. Virtual Design Workshop | Strengthening Multi-Sector Partnerships

On November 12, the Alliance will convene a virtual design workshop to test tools that enhance partnership effectiveness and gather feedback from selected participants. The session, open to 2-3 multi-sector partnerships involving three or more organizations, will provide a space for partners to prototype the tools, discuss their applicability, and refine them for their own use, and broader use. Ideal partnerships to participate will represent organizations from different sectors—such as government, civil society, and private industry—working together to improve health outcomes in marginalized communities.
