The symposium is a half-day, morning program meant to share global health best practices and to highlight the remarkable work their colleagues are doing to support international communities both locally and internationally. The event will feature the important topics of global health ethics, best practices for international work, and the impact of local work.

Climate Resilient Immunization Dialogue Series

Join Sabin Vaccine Institute Boost Community's Climate Resilient Immunization dialogue series launching on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. By the end of this program, participants will: Gain a deep understanding of the interplay between climate change and immunization; Be able to engage communities effectively to deepen the understanding of the climate crisis on immunization programs; Co-design tools to monitor and respond to environmental changes proactively; and Build a strong community of frontline immunization professionals who could advocate and advance the work of Climate-resilient Immunization.

Outcomes-Based Finance as a Tool for Health Equity and Innovation

Join Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign on February 25 for the next session in their Innovation and Health Equity Discussion Series where Neha Agarwal, senior director of strategy at PATH and Alliance board vice chair, will discuss an innovative outcomes-based financing (OBF) mechanism being developed in partnership with the governments of Tanzania and Senegal, the Bay Area Global Health Alliance, and Pfizer to reinforce antimicrobial stewardship efforts in LMICs.

UCSF Master of Science in Global Health Info Session

UCSF's Master’s in Science in Global Health is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for careers in research, policy, academia, organizational leadership, and program management and evaluation. Please join them for a virtual information session on February 26, 2025. Program Director Chris Carpenter, MD, MPH and Associate Director Ingrid Chen, PhD, MS '13 will present an overview of the program and admissions process and have time for Q+A.
