The recent lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic set the stage for a regional conversation on global health security. Convened by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Jumuiya Ya Kaunti Za Pwani, the East Africa Region Global Health Security Summit (EARGHSS) 2025 will convene a diverse group of stakeholders and serve as a road map for countries across East Africa to work together to facilitate preparedness and response for pandemics and bioterrorism, bolster biosecurity, strengthen health systems, advance health equity, and accelerate innovative health technologies.

Join Keystone Symposia for a conference on Climate Change & Infectious Disease Threats from June 23-26, 2025 at Herrenhausen Palace, HannoverGermany. This conference will explore emerging research around how climate change is and will impact vector-borne disease and emerging zoonoses, from tropical to arctic regions around the globe. The program will span molecular to epidemiological insights, integrating our understanding of how environmental changes promote the emergence and spread of various infectious diseases with strategies for how to monitor and control such outbreaks.

AHB will convene health sector leaders from across the continent in Lagos to discuss strategies for accelerating the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
