Harnessing Tech and Social Media to Educate and Save Lives | December 9, 2020

The Bay Area Global Health Alliance convened a panel of diverse experts at the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF) to discuss the efforts tech, social media and digital and public health are making to educate, inform and keep people safe. Alliance board members Praveen Raja (Facebook) and Hema Budaraju (Google) joined Andy Pattison (WHO), Heidi Larson (Vaccine Confidence Project) and Rachel Sibande (Digital Impact Alliance, UN Foundation) on the panel moderated by Ben Plumley (A Shot in the Arm podcast). Around 300 global health leaders took part in the online event, which was organized by the Alliance in collaboration with the WHO Infodemics Management Conference.
