Connecting for innovation and equity in global health
Join The Department of State’s Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy for a virtual symposium on September 17 at 1PM ET/10AM PT to highlight potential areas of collaboration between U.S. schools of public health and the State Department to advance global health security and end HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. This symposium provides opportunities for leaders of U.S. schools of public health to join in discussing future collaboration, with two main symposium topics: Panel 1: How Can Public Health Practitioners Influence Policy? and Panel 2: Global Public Health Institutions at the Intersection of Public Health and Diplomacy.
This symposium features Alliance members, Hon. Dr. Keith Martin, Executive Director of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) and Dr. Christine Kreuder Johnson, Professor of Epidemiology and Ecosystem Health and Director of the EpiCenter for Disease Dynamics, UC-Davis, and Former U.S. Science Envoy (2023), along with many other great speakers.
