Join the Initiative for MPTs (IMPT) for Reproductive Health and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) for the MPT Summit 'Envisioning the Future of HIV/STI Prevention and Contraception'. MPTs are innovative products designed to deliver combinations of HIV and other STI preventatives, and/or contraception. The MPT Summit offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse array of experts associated with MPTs, including researchers, policy makers, advocates, regulatory experts, and funders, spanning every stage of the MPT pathway. It will serve as a forum to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field.

Join Alliance member Stanford University for the Ecology & Evolution of Infectious Diseases (EEID) Conference. Stanford University, known for its academic and scholarly excellence, is a leader in infectious disease research and has several laboratory groups throughout the institution whose research is dedicated to stopping infectious disease transmission and enhancing the health of the world around us. Given this area of expertise, this year’s EEID theme will be Healthy Planet, Healthy People, emphasizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental well-being. In addition to this focus, this year’s conference also strives to enhance learning through inclusion of diverse perspectives from experts around the world whose work focuses on infectious disease.

The Rx One Health Field Institute

Join UC Davis Veterinary Medicine for the Rx One Health Field Institute, a transformative field-based experiential learning course focused on One Health core competencies for graduate students and early career professionals from all disciplines. Through hands-on experiences, case studies, group discussions and field exercises, Rx One Health will develop participants’ skills for addressing complex challenges using the One Health approach, which recognizes that the health of people, animals, and their environments are interconnected, and that problem solving to address complex challenges is best achieved through transdisciplinary collaboration.
