The Bay Area Global Health Alliance is honored to be hosting a panel discussion, Realizing Returns: Investment Opportunities in Emerging Markets, at the 2025 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, January 15 at 1:30 PM PT in San Francisco. The discussion will convene a high-impact panel to showcase investment prospects in global health technologies and explore partnerships using innovative financing models to drive both business and social returns in emerging markets.
To kick off the new year and gather our multi-sector global health community together, the Bay Area Global Health Alliance invites its members to join us for a conversation focused on catalyzing increased private sector investment toward achieving health equity for underserved communities across emerging and frontier markets, followed by an in-person networking reception on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 3–6 PM PT near Union Square in San Francisco.
The recent lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic set the stage for a regional conversation on global health security. Convened by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Jumuiya Ya Kaunti Za Pwani, the East Africa Region Global Health Security Summit (EARGHSS) 2025 will convene a diverse group of stakeholders and serve as a road map for countries across East Africa to work together to facilitate preparedness and response for pandemics and bioterrorism, bolster biosecurity, strengthen health systems, advance health equity, and accelerate innovative health technologies.
Join the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health for the 11th Annual Stanford Global Health Research Convening, which takes place Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Arrillaga Alumni Center on Stanford University campus. The theme is One Health: Highlighting interdisciplinary research that recognizes and promotes the interconnected health of humans, animals, and the environment.
