Connecting for innovation and equity in global health
STAT's 2024 Breakthrough Summit West will provide opportunities to engage in conversation about what the next two decades will bring in medicine. The summit will allow attendees to join in on high-level, interactive sessions that will peer into the mists, looking at GLP-1 drugs for psychiatry, a new age of individualized gene editing, and the potential of artificial intelligence to reduce the failure rate of inventing new medicines.
The McGill Summer Institutes in Global Health has proudly offered short courses for students and professionals for nine years. With 15 in-person and virtual courses to choose from, the summer institute provides sources of professional development for those working in universities, clinical settings, research institutes, non-profit organizations and industry. They also provide supplemental material for current students looking to learn more.
The Bay Area Global Health Alliance’s Annual Meeting will bring together members to discuss pressing global health issues, including: innovations and investments for women's health equity, overcoming barriers in multi-sector global health partnerships, and putting health at the heart of global climate change action.
