Lisa Foster
Lisa Foster brings years of experience in global health innovation and public-private partnerships. At the Alliance, she is responsible for the collaboration with J.P. Morgan and their annual healthcare conference to encourage private sector investment in healthcare in emerging markets. She leads programming on AI and Global Health, including partnerships with Pfizer, Merck, Meta, and Microsoft and a research engagement with Stanford’s Center for Digital Health. Lisa also played a formative role in the initial landscaping and establishment of the Alliance, interviewing stakeholders and securing commitments to bring on its founding members.
Lisa’s career has included positions across the tech and healthcare sectors. At Meta (formerly Facebook), as Head of Policy Programs, she built global partnerships advancing digital health solutions and was instrumental in establishing the company’s first Health Products team. Previously, as Senior Director of Corporate Responsibility at Pfizer, she designed partnerships combating HIV/AIDS, malaria, NTDs and led their disaster relief efforts. Early on in her career, at Population Services International, she launched one of Africa’s first insecticide-treated mosquito net programs—an intervention that has since been scaled globally.
Lisa holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and in pursuing her continuing education, most recently received a certificate in designing for social impact from the Stanford d.school.
