This satellite session will focus on highlighting examples of partnerships that are creating impact in prevention and behavior change for improved program delivery across key health priorities including HIV, TB and Malaria. The session will tackle topics such as: how to effectively leverage consumer insights to address HIV and TB, components for launching successful PPPs, challenges of effective prevention and behavior change programs for HIV and TB including barriers and opportunities to scale behavior-focused prevention.
Join the International AIDS Society (IAS) for the 25th International AIDS Conference. AIDS 2024 will convene thousands of people living with, affected by and working on HIV to share knowledge, best practices and lessons learnt from the HIV response over the past 40 years, as well as from the responses to COVID-19, mpox and other public health threats. AIDS 2024 will provide a powerful platform to strategically align around a unified and equitable response to the pandemic. This session will provide examples of private sector contributions to health systems and provide a space to discuss how to engage the private sector in productive collaborations with other stakeholders that leverage business capabilities to improve health and resilience in low- and middle-income countries and advance Universal Health Coverage.
Join Alliance member UCSF's Quantitative Biosciences Institute in collaboration with the University of Sierra Leone for the first International West Africa Symposium & Workshop on Infectious Disease. The Symposium on July 29-30 will bring and expose leaders in the international infectious disease community from within Africa and beyond, together in Freetown, Sierra Leone to describe the state of the art in infectious disease research on a number of key pathogens relevant to the region. Workshops will follow on July 31-August 3.
