76th World Health Assembly | Alliance Members Go to Geneva

"This year's World Health Assembly represents a pivotal moment to advance policy reforms to deliver a more fit-for-purpose, equitable research and development (R&D) ecosystem," stated the Global Health Technologies Coalition. To accelerate global health innovation and deliver health for all, they recommend WHO member states "take collective action now to establish more inclusive, globally distributed R&D systems and approaches." Other Alliance members also attending WHA76 include Baraka Impact Finance, Cross-Border Impact Ventures, Gilead Sciences, Global Health Council, Google, Living Goods, Meta, PATH, Pathfinder International, Pfizer, PSI, ReSurge International, and Viamo. 

Baraka Impact Finance @ WHA76: Catalyzing Private Capital for Health Innovation in Emerging Economies

Join Alliance member Baraka Impact Finance for a session during the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva that will examine how the health sector of emerging markets’ needs are being addressed and will explore opportunities to further accelerate capital allocation.

This session will look at the immense latent opportunity for scaling impact and realizing commercial growth through support of early- and growth-stage companies with technology-based solutions tailored to the health sector of emerging markets and the importance of partnerships in revealing the opportunities, accurately assessing and monitoring social impact objectives, and de-risking disruptive innovations.
