76th World Health Assembly | Alliance Members Go to Geneva

"This year's World Health Assembly represents a pivotal moment to advance policy reforms to deliver a more fit-for-purpose, equitable research and development (R&D) ecosystem," stated the Global Health Technologies Coalition. To accelerate global health innovation and deliver health for all, they recommend WHO member states "take collective action now to establish more inclusive, globally distributed R&D systems and approaches." Other Alliance members also attending WHA76 include Baraka Impact Finance, Cross-Border Impact Ventures, Gilead Sciences, Global Health Council, Google, Living Goods, Meta, PATH, Pathfinder International, Pfizer, PSI, ReSurge International, and Viamo. 

Pathfinder International @ WHA76: Digital Health Solutions to Bolster Health System Resilience

Join Alliance member Pathfinder International, along with What to Expect Project and Last Mile Health during the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland for a roundtable discussion focused on digital health as a tool for better health emergency preparedness. Experts in digital health will delve into how digital health solutions offer opportunities for improving the health of our most vulnerable populations and identify measures for ensuring equitable use of digital health technologies.

PATH: From neglected NCD to priority – Accelerating action on kidney disease

During this event, speakers will shine a spotlight on what is needed to accelerate action and investment for kidney disease in low- and middle-income countries.

Join Alliance members Global Health Technologies Coalition, Gilead Sciences, and MSD for Mothers for the in-person and virtual DEVEX Checkup at the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. DEVEX will convene leaders in global health to discuss the lingering pandemic emergency and long-term effects of COVID-19, preparations for the next global health threat, and the innovation necessary to move the needle on access to medicines and quality health care worldwide.

CPPR Conversation Series: Strengthening Health Security Systems

Amanda will join UCSF to talk about Resolve’s work building country capacity to prevent future pandemics, including the 7-1-7 target for outbreak detection and control. Mike Reid, MD, MA, MPH will serve as moderator for the conversation.

This session will bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss our most significant challenges to sustainable health systems and ways to advance progress towards Universal Health Coverage for all – with the successful integration of self-care approaches.
