At the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, Alliance member Google reinforced its commitment to health by announcing the launch of new Search features to help Americans access public food benefits and health care services. “I was honored to participate in this conference and am proud of Google Search’s commitments to this mighty cause,” said Hema Budaraju, Google’s Senior Director of Product, Health & Search Social Impact and Alliance Board Co-Vice Chair. Google is also taking concrete steps to make sustainability information more accessible and empowering people to make informed decisions. In a recent blog, Budaraju highlighted the multiple ways in which Google Search is helping people practice sustainability. “You can now see information about the environmental impact of certain choices — from buying a new car or pre-owned clothing to planning a driving route or weekday meal,” Budaraju explained.
