About the speaker:

Anil Soni, CEO of the WHO Foundation

Anil Soni is a proven innovator in global health with two decades of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Before joining the WHO Foundation, he served as Head of Global Infectious Diseases at Viatris, where he worked to accelerate access to new treatments. He was a key player in the early development of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, serving as Advisor to the Executive Director and later as Founding Executive Director of Friends of the Global Fight. Anil also led the Clinton Health Access Initiative as CEO, overseeing its global expansion, and has served as a senior advisor to both the Gates Foundation and Born Free Africa. He began his career at McKinsey & Company and is an alumnus of Harvard College. He currently serves on the board of The Marshall Project.
