Reimagining Diabetes Care: Innovative Pathways to Equity, Access and Impact

Diabetes care in low- and middle-income countries is too often fragmented, with patients facing gaps across the care pathway—from diagnostics and consistent medicines supply to education and ongoing support. The result is preventable complications, higher costs, and widening inequities. There is a growing consensus that only through integrated, patient-centered pathways—spanning public, private, and civil society contributions—can we achieve meaningful impact. With capabilities in logistics, supply chains, innovation, and system design, the private sector is uniquely positioned to help drive this transformation. This roundtable, co-hosted by Accenture and PATH, will convene a select group of leaders from government, multilateral organizations, civil society, and the private sector to:

• Examine critical gaps and opportunities in diabetes care delivery.
• Explore case studies and game-changing approaches, including care bundles, coordinated and digital care, and innovative financing.
• Engage in a candid discussion on what has—and hasn’t—worked in integrated diabetes care, and where the greatest opportunities lie for impact.
