Diabetes care in low- and middle-income countries is too often fragmented, with patients facing gaps across the care pathway—from diagnostics and consistent medicines supply to education and ongoing support. The result is preventable complications, higher costs, and widening inequities. There is a growing consensus that only through integrated, patient-centered pathways—spanning public, private, and civil society contributions—can we achieve meaningful impact. With capabilities in logistics, supply chains, innovation, and system design, the private sector is uniquely positioned to help drive this transformation.
