Rally for the Public’s Health

Join APHA on the National Mall, 7th Street, N.W. between Madison and Jefferson (near the Hirshhorn Museum) on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 2:30-4 pm ET to rally for critical public health issues and initiatives. Whether you’re visiting Washington, D.C. for the Annual Meeting or you are a local public health advocate, this rally is for you. Join to foster your network of public health peers and speak up for public health!

Public health advocates from across the country will gather to highlight urgent priorities, including:

• Investing in public health
• Strengthening the public health workforce
• Gun violence prevention
• Reproductive rights
• Climate and environmental health

Rally speakers will share powerful stories, bold ideas and calls to action that will energize and inspire. Together, we’ll demonstrate the strength, unity and passion of the public health community — and reinforce that protecting the public’s health is not optional, it’s essential. Speakers include:
