Private Sector Engagement on the Impacts of Climate Change on Health and Nutrition

September 24 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Climate change is intensifying health and nutrition risks worldwide—driving heat-related illness, food and water insecurity, infectious disease spread, and air pollution exposure. These cascading impacts not only threaten human well-being but also disrupt industries by affecting workforces, consumers, and communities—undermining productivity, supply chains, and business continuity. Multinational corporations are beginning to respond, but critical questions remain about how the private sector can play a stronger role in building resilience. At NY Climate Week, Accenture and Forecasting Healthy Futures are bringing together business leaders, climate experts, and public health innovators for a high-level roundtable. Together, they’ll explore the current landscape, discuss the key challenges, and surface opportunities for leadership and collaboration that safeguard health and nutrition while advancing climate adaptation.
