Compassionate Leadership in Global Health

In a world marked by growing uncertainty and deepening inequities, we need leaders who lead with heart. Join Global Health Corps, TramutoPorter Foundation, and Lwala Community Alliance for an interactive event exploring what it means to lead with compassion in today’s global and public health landscape.
In honor of National Compassionate Leadership Week 2025, the TramutoPorter Foundation, Global Health Corps (GHC), and Lwala Community Alliance are co-hosting a virtual gathering that will explore the how and why of cultivating compassion—for ourselves and those we serve as health equity champions. Moderated by TramutoPorter Foundation Board Member Natalie Alcantara, the conversation will feature leaders working across Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States to center people, foster belonging, and lead change with integrity. The dialogue will kick-off with a keynote address delivered by Kerry Kennedy.
This is more than a webinar—it’s a chance to reflect, connect, and commit. You’ll have space to engage with peers, share your experiences, and spark collective action to invest in the kind of leadership our health systems urgently need.
How to Engage: Participation Expectations This will be a highly interactive event. To ensure a meaningful experience for all participants, we ask that you honor our Agreement for Participation:

- Be Stationary: join from a stable location (not while walking or driving).
- Be Engaged: We ask that you join with both video and audio on. Headphones are encouraged.
- Be Distraction-Free: Silence notifications and avoid multitasking to be fully present.
- Use the Chat Intentionally: Keep messages relevant and on-topic; refrain from dropping unrelated links.
