4th Annual Global Health Symposium
The Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) invites you to join them online for the 4th Annual Global Health Symposium, Global Health Forward: Strength Through Innovation and Collective Action, on April 16, 2026 from 9:00AM – 4:00PM ET / 6:00AM – 1:00PM PT.
Convening experts from Harvard and around the world, this year’s symposium will examine the most pressing challenges in global health and explore innovative, collaborative solutions to advance health equity and resilience globally.
Designed for students, faculty, practitioners, policymakers, and global health leaders, the program will feature a full day of keynote remarks and expert-led discussions addressing critical issues including:
- Global health governance
- Emergency preparedness
- The global health workforce
- Regional and institutional perspectives on sustainable, collaborative solutions
The 2026 keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Sania Nishtar, CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, whose leadership has advanced vaccine equity, strengthened health systems, and fostered global cooperation in health.
The symposium will be held in a hybrid format and livestreamed worldwide. Online participation is open to the public, with in-person attendance available by invitation only.
